Genesis 17:4-6

4Behold, my covenant is with you, and you shall be ethe father of a multitude of nations. 5No longer shall your name be called Abram,
 Abram means exalted father
but gyour name shall be Abraham,
 Abraham means father of a multitude
ifor I have made you the father of a multitude of nations.
6I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make jyou into nations, and kkings shall come from you.

Psalms 105:8-11

8He lremembers his covenant forever,
the word that he commanded, for ma thousand generations,

his osworn promise to Isaac,
10which he confirmed to pJacob as a statute,
to Israel as an everlasting covenant,
11saying, q“To you I will give the land of Canaan
as ryour portion for an inheritance.”

Galatians 3:17-18

17This is what I mean: the law, which came s430 years afterward, does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God, so as tto make the promise void. 18For if the inheritance comes by the law, it no longer comes by promise; but uGod gave it to Abraham by a promise.
